HOW TO BUILD RECESSED SHELVES BETWEEN STUDS IN A WALL

Posted on July 25, 2019 at 12:55 AM Comments comments (2)

Today I am going to show you how to build recessed shelves between studs in a 2×4 wall. Cassity and I chose to install these recessed shelves in our guest bathroom. Our girls share the same bathroom that is our guest bathroom and we were tired of our girls messes on the vanity counter top and wanted to find a solution to keep it cleaner. We came up with a better option of where to store the little things they needed to get ready everyday.

We had a blank wall that needed some love. We have had a plan in our minds for the longest time to build recessed shelves in the wall between the studs. Our bathroom is small to begin with and limited with places to store things.

We put together this video of the entire process on how to build it. This is some thing that can be done in your house as well. I don’t think that we are the only ones who need extra storage space to help organize a bathroom. We love the way it looks and functions

Watch this video and let us know what you think. Also we have created a building plan of the recessed shelves in our shop so you can build the same thing in your home
